Counting cards is based on assigning "count values" to cards, adding or subtracting those values to a running total (the count), and then varying the units bet accordingly. Learn-To-Count BlackJack™ uses these values in displaying the count value and true count value to assist you in learning counting. The true count value is the count value divided by the number of decks remaining in the shoe and should be used to make betting decisions.
The count values are entered using the dialog window above. The values that have been initially set are the standard HI-LO COUNT values used by many blackjack experts and which are the basis for betting strategies used by the Learn-To-Count BlackJack™ proof.
