The Professional Edition of Learn-To-Count BlackJack™ has the S-GATE method to help you develop and refine your betting strategy.

Future versions will expand on this aspect of blackjack in greater detail (in theory) but only the Professional Edition has S-GATE.

Money Management

Tied in with betting strategies is good Money Management which is essential for you to minimise loses during bad runs and maximise winnings when you are hot.

Win target

This is the amount of winnings that are kept in your pocket and not played with. The excess is used to bet with in case you are hot.

Loss limit

Loss limit is the maximum amount you are prepared to lose. When that is reached you leave the shoe and sometimes the casino as well. How many times have all of us been so cold that the best course of action would have been to stop playing but we kept going and lost far too much. Most times when you are cold it does not turn around.

WHAT IS SHAREWARE?

You may use it for evaluation until you have played about 300 hands without charge. After that the number of decks available will progressively reduce.

If you like the program, and wish to continue its use after this evaluation period, you are required to pay for the program. Any fee you may have paid to others (disk vendors, dealers, etc.) to obtain this evaluation version was a fee for their copying and distribution services, rather than a payment for continued use of the program.
